My work as an author explores the intersections of queer identity, institutional failure, and the human cost of power, particularly in the face of unexpected problems. With a doctorate in bioethics and over two decades in compliance, I write from personal experiences that reflect what I’ve seen. Each of the stories I create includes a kernel of truth drawn from real-world events that resulted in unexpected outcomes for everyone involved.
These literary suspense stories, featuring themes relevant to the LGBTQ community, illustrate that death isn’t random; it’s a consequence of choices made. Each death signifies the moment someone breaks a rule, weighing the fallout against the perceived reward. Set against the backdrop of medicine, technology, and influence, these narratives unravel the consequences when power calculates risk, truth becomes inconvenient, and lives, including those of marginalized identities, turn into collateral.
